Summary
Searching ski areas on SkiRoute needs no account. The site shows Google ads, for which Google and its partners may use cookies; you choose in the cookie notice and can change it at any time. We only store something when you request an area: your e-mail address, the area and your language. The address you give is never used for advertising or sold.
What we store and why
When you request an area we store your e-mail address, the area you asked for, the language of the page and the time of your consent. We use them only to count how many skiers asked for an area and to send you one e-mail when it is available.
Recording the request
A request is recorded when you send it. Your address is stored with the request without being verified: we only check that it is written correctly.
E-mail delivery
We use an e-mail delivery service to send these messages. It processes your address only to deliver them.
Where it is stored and for how long
Requests are stored in the EU. When an area becomes available you receive one e-mail and your address is then deleted from the request. Every e-mail has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us at any time to delete your request: hi@familytv.app.
Legal basis and your rights
We rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. You have the right to access, correct and delete your data and to complain to your data protection authority.
Ski area data
The list of ski areas is based on OpenSkiMap and OpenStreetMap data (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL). Searching happens in your browser; your search words are not sent to us.
